Today the children learnt the three elements needed for a fire;
Fuel, Oxygen and Heat. They then had to look around 'Leafy Woods' for items that they may need to make a fire and also to keep us safe. We had some very interesting answers and ideas about where to get a fire and how to light one.
The children also had the opportunity to experience whittling using a potato peeler so they could make a stick person. They also enjoyed making a Christmas decoration.
