With faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. - Matthew 13 verses 31 - 35

13th May Wk 3

The weather being so hot it was important to keep the children cool today and in the shade. A great way to keep the children cool was for them to put up their own shelters. An adult was attached to each group of children. They were asked not to lead the children but to be there for support only when asked or needed. The children had a safety talk about using the ropes and the bungee cords which they adhered too. They had lots of fun and worked so well together. Next time I have told them I will have water to see if their shelters keep them dry! It was a lovely calm atmosphere through the session which is brilliant to see the children enjoying the outdoors and the beauty and freedom it brings to their learning.
