Today when the children arrived at Leafy Woods they were met by Tom and Tessa at the fire circle. The children are currently learning about why do Christians put a cross in an Easter garden as part of our RE curriculum. Making a cross was one of the activities they could choose to do today. This involved using a hack saw for the first time and using real nails. The children thrived and worked so hard and listened so well to the parent helpers instructions. Well done Butterflies.
