Capel St Mary CEVC Primary School

With faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. - Matthew 13 verses 31 - 35

19.1.23

A wonderful session as the children kept themselves busy and active in the winter sunshine as the temperature dropped during the afternoon. They listened to the story of 'Oliver's vegetables', then used mallets to hammer in golf tees into a selection of vegetables learning a new tool skill. They enjoyed moving around the Leafy wood space and cutting branches to store more effectively. During the afternoon they went across to the main playground where they searched for their name tags. Some tired children by the end of the session but thoroughly happy with their experiences.

Very proud of a Butterfly child who went home after the Forest School session and tried something new after we read the story 'Oliver's vegetables'. We talked about not saying we cannot like something if we haven't tried it before. But also trying new things is good because our taste buds change as we grow.
