A fabulous session to complete this terms Forest School. Before leaving the classroom the children were asked to draw and write down the activities and resources they would like to use during the session. It was wonderful to see them using their phonic knowledge and skills and helping each other to spell and write the words phonetically. The children enjoyed playing 'Which tree?' This was a game of trust and using their senses. They also had fun playing 'the floor is lava' using the characters from the story 'The Old Woman and the Red Pumpkin'. It was very calm over in leafy woods where the children enjoyed their chosen activities and the companionship of their friends.
