Today we are working on answering these questions with the children:
What is a dinosaur?
When were dinosaurs around?
How do we know they existed?
What is an Palaeontologist?
What did the Palaeontologist find?
Where are the bones now?
Use the information from the PowerPoint's, websites and any books you may have at home to answer the above questions. If you would like you could film the children's answers to the questions.
Then let the children become Palaeontologist's themselves by choosing an activity below:
1: Complete the fossil making activity.
2: Create a dinosaur skeleton using pasta and play dough or with match sticks or cotton buds.
