School Council

Our School Council

The school council is all about letting the children have a voice, as the children on the council represent the views of all the students.

The school council also allows every student to have a say in what they think needs improving in the school. They have meetings every two weeks to plan activities and to discuss possible improvements with Mr Frolish and the Chair of Governors, Mrs Huard.

Bake Sale Spring 2026

The School Council done an excellent job showing leadership and organising a fantastic cake sale raising money for play equipment and for the Capel Parish Nurses – a really worthy cause. A huge thanks to everyone who donated cakes – we had loads to sell! Thanks also to the governors and staff who helped the children on the day in school.

School Council Talent Show Summer 2025

Well done to all the members of the school council who organised a brilliant talent show!  Everyone in the school was dazzled by all the wonderful talents on display!  We had a winning from each unit:

Unit 1 – Phoebe, Olivia, Amelia & Pearl (singing and dancing to ‘Mama Mia’)

Unit 2 – Amelia (singing ‘I Just Can’t Wait to be King’)

Unit 3 – Alexia (playing the piano)

All our winners were brilliantly talented and wowed the audience.  All the other children who took part can also be really proud of their entertaining performances.  It was a really fun afternoon…perhaps we have some future stars amongst us!

Children’s Art Work

I’m delighted that some of the children’s art work is on display at Constable Country Medical Practice in East Bergholt. Next time you’re at the surgery have a look for the brilliant creativity of our children!
