With faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. - Matthew 13 verses 31 - 35

Mr Parry-Jones

Hi all,

First of all, apologies that the due date for the homework was inaccurate last week. The homework was meant to be a two week homework, but apparently I cannot use a calendar!

Please find the homework for this week below. This is all about finding the perimeter and area for the shapes given. The sections get harder as you move through the sheet.

A reminder about area and perimeter.

Perimeter: the distance around the outside of a shape. Remember, if there are missing lengths around the outside of the shape, you need to find these and fill them in.

Area or a rectangle: multiply the length of the rectangle by the width of the rectangle.

Area of a compound shape: divide the shape into rectangles, do the above method to the rectangles and add the answers together. There are examples to the left of the sheet if you need them.

There are also answers attached so please use these to mark your work when you are finished.

Good luck!

Mr PJ
