We are now entering the time of year when it is possible for schools to be closed due to bad weather.
I would like to start off by saying that we will remain open in all but the most exceptional of circumstances and to advise parents of what we will do should it be necessary for us to close.
The Headteacher - Mr Sean Cornish, will make a decision regarding a school closure as early as is practicable in the day and will then inform the County Council. They will update their website:
and parents will be able to see from there whether the school is due to be closed.
Parents can also use the school website. This page, together with the banner on the main school page will provide an up to date source of information. I will also make the admins of the PFA Facebook page aware of any decision to close so that parents can be informed via this route.
The County Council will also update the local radio stations as to our school's situation.
If you do not hear or see that we are closed then assume that we are open!
