17.6.25 Week 2
The children absolutely loved learning how to play the African drum, known as a djembe. They were taught the three main techniques on how to strike the drum. These are the Bass, Tone and Slap. The children could then make their own musical instrument. They also took care of our growing strawberries by watering them. It was a hot day so it was important to keep ourselves cool and hydrated under the shade of the trees.
